Self Assessment deadline: 31 January 2027

Making Tax Digital: next quarterly update due 7 November
7 Nov 2026. If your qualifying income is over £50,000 you must now keep digital records and send quarterly updates. The threshold drops to £30,000 from April 2027 and £20,000 from April 2028. Read: Making Tax Digital explained. Source: GOV.UK.

Last day to register for Self Assessment for 2025/26

National Living Wage rises to £12.71 an hour

Statutory Sick Pay is £123.25 a week
